When taking this course you will be able to:
Research and explore different Tongan Arts and Crafts patterns. Explore a range of content knowledge in relation to making a fan/wall hanging tapa. Able to compare and contrast Tongan Artists to Maori and other Pasifika Artists. Explore and create a fan and wall hanging tapa for sale.
Two assessments will be offered for this course: Internal - Writing Portfolio and an External assessment - understanding of a variety of extended written and/or visual Lea Faka-Tonga texts.
