This Year 13 PE course is designed for students looking to improve their fitness, leadership and event planning skills. Through a combination of practical activities and theoretical learning, students will develop the physical conditioning, leadership abilities, and organisational skills essential for success in both athletic and professional settings.
Key components of the course include:
- Fitness Training: Learning about different muscles, how to train and stretch them.
- Swimming: You will learn some basic aquatic skills.
- Event Management: Acquire skills in planning, organising, and managing sports and fitness events, gaining valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, and logistical coordination.
- Personal Fitness: Design and implement a personalized fitness plan that includes various aspects of fitness training and swimming, tailored to meet individual health and career goals, including police fitness requirements.
This course is ideal for students pursuing careers in law enforcement, sports management, fitness training, or any field that demands strong physical conditioning, leadership, and organisational abilities. By the end of the course, students will be well-prepared to meet the physical and mental challenges of police work, while also gaining a solid foundation in fitness and event management.
