When taking this course you will be able to:
- Research and explore your own family background, relationships, values and beliefs
- Research and explore in group/pairs about a range of content knowledge in relation to a dance performance or costume making eg. Tekiteki (head decoration), kahoa (lei), vesa (wrist decoration).
- Compare and contrast your own Tongan dance to Maori and other Pasifika dances
The end product of the project will enable students to create a video where they can converse and communicate effectively in groups/pairs using Lea Faka-Tonga on how to create their own dance for 2 minutes and costume making.
