Horizon - Physics
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr A. Randhawa.
Physics helps us to explain the world around us and this is interesting in its own right. It also provides the scientific basis for our understanding of many aspects of science and modern technology. These include areas such as structural, mechanical, electrical, optical and acoustic engineering, heating, electronics, robotics, telecommunications, fibre optics, medical technology and information technology.
One of the reasons physics is in demand from employers is that it helps students learn how to think clearly and figure things out for themselves when they are confronted with unfamiliar situations. It also provides students with strong practical skills.
