Course Description

The Sports Leadership course offers students the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills in a practical and sporting environment. This course will suit students who are confident in communicating and leading activities, enjoy learning about the human body and learning how to train to improve performance.
This course will suit students who are willing to get involved in Sport and Recreation courses after completing their Level 3 such as Personal Training, Sports Coaching, Fitness Instructor. This course offers a lot of practical, but there is theory work to complete to meet assessment requirements. Students should NOT expect an entirely practical course.
Recommended Prior Learning
Students should have taken GPAS, GPGT and GPLL.
